WHAT TO DO ABOUT THE HOMELESS...

communities in the small 17 sq miles that make up Garden Grove California.

Although not in Garden Grove an example of a homeless camp.
I hear this, and I read this day after day after day, but I do not see anyone doing anything to end this travesty against our citizens. I joined the ranks of the homeless on the streets just before Thanksgiving this past year, you will not believe the misconceptions we are given of these folks.

Don't get me wrong there are some very scary people out here, but there is one solace for the most part they stay away from the rest of the homeless, as we seem to have more numbers than they do.

The majority of those that scare the you know what out of you, are not that way most of the time, it is not until after they have had a fix or two and run out and start to jones they just lain lose it. Then there are those who are functioning Psychotics, who when they are on their meds, are just as normal as you or me.

The two pictures so far show bad conditions, and this is where
the misnomer that the homeless are dirty. In actuality both of
these camps had way more people than the area allowed for, so
you get that Stereo Type.
Another misnomer about the homeless is that they are dirty, and covered in lice and such, yes there are
those, but there are far more that have found locations where they can take showers a couple of days a week, then there is another place that has small storage Boxes - free, you can do your laundry - free, get food, a hot meal, and many other services.

These are some of the most creative people you will ever meet. Not only with artistic abilities, but with creating a safe warm place to sleep at night, and then in the daytime secure their possessions, bedroll, or sleeping bag, clothes, books, some even have camp stoves, and coffee pots, all of this gets stashed away and Dozens of people walk by it each and every day, and don't even know it is there.

Garden Grove Police Raiding the storm Tunnels to chase out
the homeless (most of which are families). BUT those that have

nowarrants, don't have Drugs, or paraphernalia are told to get
their stuff and move on. There is no place for the Police to take
these people where they will be Safe, warm, dry and fed.
Another thing that I have found amazing and also another misconception. We are told that they fight, some viciously over what is theirs in some cases yes that does happen, again look at the group and the conditions. But I have found it far different from that, with the exception of one meth head, I have had just the opposite experience.

There was one day that I was sitting at my spot in the laptop area in the library, and my stomach rumbled. I had food, but I had to decide did I want to eat it then, or a little later, so that I did not wake up hungry in the night and not have anything around. One of the street people that I have met out here heard it and asked me when I had last eaten.

Yes there are those on the streets hiding from the law,
HOWEVER they do not hide for long. The others that are
with these gentlemen being taken into custody, will be sent on
their merry way, oh yea these are families.
I told her either "yesterday or the day before I can't remember actually," so she goes out to her bike and
trailer, pulls out sandwich fixins, makes me a man size sandwich, and brings it and a canned soft drink. When I told her no, she had her two boys (21 & 24) to worry about. She said. "They are big boys, they can get food if they get hungry. But we do not let people go hungry.

All I can say as I am taking this adventure and taking the time to walk in their shoes, I am able to forget I have any troubles, because whatever may be wrong there are 15 people that I see daily that have things much worse than I.

I want to close this Post with the following: I KNOW without a doubt that I am right where I am supposed to be, doing what I am supposed to be doing. The Reason I know this is true, is the warm feeling I have and it gets warmer daily.

I NEED TO RAISE AT LEAST...

Hello; The time has come for me to what I hate more than anything, and that is to get down and beg. We have a huge Rally - At least 500 People in about three weeks and I need to get things for this event.

This first event is a week of non-violent civil disobedience. We are inviting at least 1,000 of the some 4,000+ homeless in the 17 square miles that makes up Garden Grove, CA.

BYE Events and Entertainment Contracted to do this Protest / Rally and now I need to be able to pick up supplies, pay for permits, make up flyers, posters. We also need to contact local businesses to come on as in-kind sponsors.

Please let your friends and family know and check back shortly as I am able to make an official release.

A Message From Santa

Ho – Ho – Ho – Ho Merry Christmas!

Hello Boys and Girls, Santa wants to say how impressed he is with most of you around the world. With all this hate amongst us, I love seeing you little ones that go that extra mile to make someone else a little bit happier.

Watching you girls & young women  going to the elderly and home bound to help them with the housework – Washing dishes, cleaning the whole house from top to bottom, vacuuming the carpets, sweeping and moping the floors, washing their clothes and bedding, washing those windows so they sparkle oh so brightly.

These things please me more than I can ever tell you.

Boys & Young Men there are large numbers of you that go that extra mile as well. Yes, I have seen you helping the neighbors mow their lawns, plant flowers; weed the flower beds, and even cleaning the walkways and drive. You know what really pleases Santa though; that is when I see you young men taking up a shovel in the cold winter weather and shovel your neighbors’ walkways and drives. That really pleases me.

Nevertheless, you know what boys and girls, Santa is not happy this year. To be fully honest Kris Kringle that is I, also known as Santa Clause, Father Christmas to name just two of the many names.
You want to know why I am mad, and depressed. It is because of your parents! They have forgotten their job as a parent! It is their job to teach you kids to Respect your Elders, teach you manners; however the lesson that has me most upset with them, they have forgotten to teach you that you should love ALL your brothers and sister, not just the ones in what you call family, but EVERY single person on earth.

Boys and girls there is a Christmas wish I hear over and over again;
You sweet young innocent children come and sit on my lap, and you whisper in my ear, Santa please bring Peace and Love to the world!
It saddens me that I cannot grant this magnificent Christmas Wish!

However, I do have an idea, if ALL of you boys and girls will start telling your parents I love you, but you need to help us out.
The way we will bring Peace and Love to this World, is to learn to LOVE ALL men; Whether their skin is White, Black, Brown, Yellow, Red whatever color; or what God they worship, whether it be the God of Abraham; Buddha, Mahmoud, Allah, whatever you may want to call him, all of us are still brothers and sisters and we all need to come together and remember that we are all brothers and sisters.

For 2016, I am going to ask you to join Santa and his helpers spread love and caring. When you see that person on the side of the freeway ramps, (make sure you are with an adult) but pause for just a moment to say hello, ask them their name, and hand them a homemade card, sharing your love – a scripture from your book of worship, A positive quote by one of our greatest leaders, or just a picture that you have drawn of love and peace.
I think that we should also take time to visit a house of worship of other religions, Just to see and understand them better. Take a minute and talk to someone different from yourself, religion, race, creed or color, spread your love to them by getting to know them, and know that they are your sisters and brothers, and they have feelings like you.

There are Races out there that scream out “We are discriminated against!” It saddens Santa to know that these people continue this hate and racism by not taking the time to get to know People of other Races, Creeds, or Color. Therefore, you kids are taught that this Country owes you something JUST because of your skin color; tell whoever is trying to teach you this, no it does not.

What I really want you to do, is yell and yell loud, “We are Children of name of your God.we are all brothers and sisters and you are not going to teach me any different. I will love ALL my brothers and sisters, I will honor & Respect ALL Adults – (be careful of those that may be out to hurt you though).

Thank you young people this world is going to be yours to live on so instead of making war, let us raise our voices in praise of love and peace.

REMEMBER BOYS AND GIRLS SANTA LOVES EVERYONE IN THE WORLD, BUT there are some that disappoint Santa.
